Mass Petroleum was established in 2018. At the time Vaal Triangle based businessman, André du Plessis, sought ways to reduce input costs in his transportation business. During his endeavours, he found an opportunity within the fuel industry and decided to join forces with friend and fellow businessman, Shaun Fourie. Together they set out to build Mass Petroleum (Pty.) Ltd. and position themselves as a preferred supplier of fuel to the transport, construction, mining, and other relevant sectors. Having literally grown up in a logistics environment, André has a thorough understanding of the challenges involved in operating a transport fleet and more specifically, maintaining a timeous supply of good quality fuel, at the right price, wherever it is needed. Therefore, Mass Petroleum’s business model and approach towards customer needs has been developed, and remains driven, from a transporter’s perspective. Shaun has a great deal of experience in the establishment and management of various businesses within a variety of economic sectors. He is extremely passionate about his business ventures and his customer focused approach has been a key contributor towards the success of the company. He meticulously manages the company’s performance and is constantly researching and developing strategies to optimize efficiency and growth within the company, as well as enhancing overall customer experience.
