The Massachusetts Oyster Project (MOP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the re-invigoration of the Massachusetts coastal estuaries by re-establishing oyster colonies that once flourished throughout the region. The goal is simple, return oysters to the waters they once lived in so that they can help clean and stabilize the ecosystem. Each oyster can filter up to 30 gallons of water per day!
