With a total of 8.500 members and about dairy and beef cows, MASTERRIND has the largest herd book population in Germany and the second largest worldwide. The Holstein cows produce an average of 9.500 kg milk per annum. MASTERRIND has the most modern A.I centres in Holstein breeding with registered offices in Verden, Bad Zwischenahn and Meißen. Round about first services are carried out annually on our member farms. 3.1 million doses of semen are sold at the same time period of which about one million doses are exported to more than 30 countries worldwide. Within embryo-transfer MASTERRIND belongs to the European pioneers. The classical method and also the latest techniques of ovum-pick-up (OPU) and in-vitro-production (IVP) are practiced in the laboratories of MASTERRIND. MASTERRIND is the German market leader in sales of breeding and commercial cattle. On more than 50 auctions and on farm purchases approximately animals are sold annually.
