Masuca

Cansu Yel Eliaçık I was born in 1986 in Istanbul. I received my bachelor's degree as Landscape Architect from Istanbul University. I have been working in both design and application areas as a Landscape Architect in the public sector since eleven years. Suzi Levi I was born in Izmir in 1986. After receiving my bachelor’s degree as Landscape Architect from Istanbul University, I completed my master's degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design in Florence. After returning to Turkey I started working as a Lighting Designer and worked on several different scale projects in Turkey and abroad for eight years. Masuca Since the day we met, we started designing and producing together, and in December 2017 we founded Masuca. Masuca, beyond being a product brand, has become a formation that includes our effort in every aspect. Everything from our logo to product design and photo shooting is the design of both of us. All of our products are handmade, we care to use natural materials in our design. At certain times of the year we collect wood from nature and by using them in our designs we like to regenerate each by giving them a function. We also love to use objects we collect from the places we travel to give meaning to our designs. So the materials and the wood we are using can be collected from anywhere in the world. In addition to the products we continuously produce, we also enjoy producing site-specific and user-specific products as part of our architectural education.
