Mater Filia

Mater Filia is a safe day care that provides security, friends, and creative time for children from 1-5 years old. It has an international colour inviting and consisting of children from all over the world. Mater Filia also works closely with mothers to provide them psychological support and encouraging them to be actively involved in their children's upbringing. Our mission is to help mothers in Greece take care of their children while they go to work, especially foreign mothers and refugees with low income that cannot afford to send their children to greek kindergartens. We entertain the children with different activities and help them feel like every other child. We also help the migrants mother with basic information, clothing and food that is offered to us by different organization, and well wishers. Furthermore, we also look for families that would be interested in taking responsibilities by helping a child in our center for a period of time because most children need your help.
