Maternity Worldwide

Maternity Worldwide works in developing countries to help women and girls access the high quality maternal health care they need to be able to give birth safely. We save lives in childbirth by; training midwives and doctors to provide safe births, providing community health promotion on maternal and newborn health, improving access to healthcare and providing income-generation schemes empowering women and enabling them to become financially independent. We have worked in 11 developing countries since they were formed in 2002 and we currently have three integrated maternal health programmes in Malawi, Uganda and Ethiopia
