Math Entrepreneur

Math Entrepreneur is an organisation, operating in natural excellence, empowered and motivated to transform the African continent through research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Math Entrepreneur main objective is to use mathematical techniques to tackle problems in business and everyday life whilst increasing the hunger in young Africans for careers in STEM. Our team brings the brilliance of mathematics to life by providing amazing products and solutions to problems in social sciences, agriculture, education, energy, environment and much more. We take the problems around us, analyse them, and build up solutions with robust and attractive mathematical components, in hope of stimulating interest in mathematics and its problem solving potential. Many tertiary institutions in Africa have made it their mission to provide graduate training to a select group of students in STEM. At Math Entrepreneur, we go to the base where STEM competencies are built before a student enters university. Math Entrepreneur holds a rm conviction that, students at the primary and secondary levels, if properly motivated and drilled, will enter university with a focus and a purpose. Math Entrepreneur achieves this by promoting STEM education through STEM fairs, STEM innovation competitions, STEM Olympiads, sensitizing students about the importance of STEM in schools and much more. We leverage the dierent skills in STEM, to provide solutions that propel our continent closer to the sustainable development goals, and foster innovation around renewable energy, agriculture and much more. Our methods and work lays serious emphasis on the mathematical methods that are in the background.
