Slogan: Where you discover the crazy fun of Math.* Mission: That children learn to like mathematics and get an inkling of how it's used in real life.* * MathMania Birth: Dania El-Iraqi spent most of her career life in the academic field. She started by teaching undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students in various universities like the AUC. After she received her masters’ degree in Operations Research, for which she also received the “OR for Development Prize” at IFORS 2005, the first and only Arab woman to receive this prize, Dania was awarded a Graduate Internship with the Getty Conservation Institute in LA, California. Upon her return from the USA, Dania worked for some time in the university. Working with undergraduate and graduate students made her realize that the weakness of most students in mathematics goes back to their early school years. After this realization, Dania decided that she wanted to work with younger students in order to instill in them some of her passion for mathematics.
