Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Matrix has been providing consulting services for over 30 years and has established a reputation for providing short and long-term high quality expertise to development programmes, projects and institutions. We manage long-term projects with an in-house team of specialists. The technical areas we work in include urban development, decentralisation and municipal management, physical planning, land reform, rural development & agriculture, climate change, grant making, education, governance, poverty reduction, capacity building and institutional development. We work throughout Africa with a focus on East, Central and Southern Africa. The majority of our consultants are resident in the region and most are nationals of East & Central African countries with a close understanding of their respective sectors.
