Matter News

Matter News is your independent news featuring challenging perspectives on issues that matter: community, culture, and overlooked voices of Columbus. We serve civically-minded Columbus residents who are underserved by the current media landscape. In order to take a deep dive into those topics, we focus on a few at a time. Being a new startup, we are currently covering two issues (or "Matters"), which are economic development and policing. In the future, when we expand to covering additional matters, they will be chosen by residents and community leaders. Matter, along with Grey Matter Films, is a free news publication of Grey Matter Media (GMM). GMM is fiscally sponsored by the Institute for Nonprofit News.
