Matthew Lloyd Architects are an award winning RIBA Chartered Practice based in Shoreditch, East London, who have won recognition for sensitive, innovative, contextual architecture in urban settings. We have a track record over more than two decades in heritage, housing, places of worship, workspace, schools, nurseries, youth and community centres, often in a mix of uses on one site. We design unique and beautiful solutions, whilst our projects are grounded in their history and communities. Our clients’ ambitions and aims are at the absolute centre of our practice. We are listeners and are adaptable and proactive. The practice is led by four directors, who maintain a close involvement in all projects: our team offers in-depth, time-served skills, and a genuine desire to direct our services to meet the wishes of our clients. We achieve outstanding and successful planning outcomes for our clients, often on challenging and complex sites. We enable meaningful negotiation and engagement on our projects, both with statutory stakeholders and local people, towards highly original and bespoke outcomes. We have the skills required to design, detail, and manage our projects right through to the occupation and inhabitation of the completed buildings.
