August 8, 2023 will be a date that forever changed Maui and its community. So many people lost loved ones, homes, businesses and more in the Maui fires that its almost impossible to imagine the impact and how to move forward. The challenge for those who were impacted is not receiving support fast enough. Our efforts are focused on providing the most expeditious and immediate relief for individuals that have experienced a total loss of home and/or business, helping small businesses reestablish themselves and support infrastructure rebuilding to prevent future fire disasters. The vision is for MPF to be Mauis most effective grant making public charity; based on the values of community, transparency, integrity, and dedication. MPF will provide financial relief, community programs and various services to perpetuate its mission statement and be an integral part of the rebuilding process of Lahaina over the next decade.
