Mawaheb is a place to inspire and to get inspired. Mawaheb's mission is to break down the boundaries and stigmas associated with People of Determination*(POD), by bringing People of Determination and society together and demonstrating that each individual is unique in his/her own way. Located in GC Avenue - Al Quoz, Mawaheb is a ART studio for People of Determination (POD), 18 years and above, where they can hone their artistic expression, develop life skills, self-confidence and self-esteem to realise their full potential. Next-door Community café is a co working and meeting place where POD and society will catch up and participate in workshops or after-school activities. Our goals: • Building a community for everyone and celebrating diversity. • Giving People of Determination the same rights as everyone else in the community. • Integrating People of Determination into the society as valuable members. • Helping individuals develop their life, communication, and social skills through the medium of art and training. • Promoting the capabilities of each individual and bridging the gap between communities.
