Max Foote Construction Company, LLC is a general contractor specializing in the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants throughout the south-central and southeastern United States. In 1971 the company’s founder, Max E. Foote, began his career in the treatment plant construction field with Carrothers Construction Company, a plant builder active in the industry since the turn of the 20th century. After working on projects in Colorado and Texas, he was assigned to a 25 MGD wastewater treatment plant in Shreveport, LA as the project manager. At the completion of that project, Max declined an offer of partial ownership in Carrothers to start his own contracting business; and in 1976, Max Foote Construction Company, LLC was founded in Shreveport, LA. Through the efforts and support of a core group of people, gradual and successful growth has been the cornerstone of the business. In 1993, the company moved its corporate headquarters to Mandeville, LA. In 2001, the company acquired the Birmingham, AL-based treatment plant division of Lincoln Builders. In addition to the Mandeville, LA corporate office, and the Birmingham, AL regional office, the company has a safety office in Bossier City, LA. Today, the company has an annual volume of approximately with over $2 billion of water and wastewater plant and other heavy construction completed to date. MFCC is currently licensed in the states of Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama.
