Welcome to our book series featuring stories about Maya and her modern day family. Our first book titled,"My Best Day with Daddy" introduces the very special relationship between her and her stay-at-home dad. Many hard-working stay-at-home fathers and breadwinning moms are sometimes misunderstood or society today may have yet to fully embrace this growing household dynamic. We chose to write stories that serve as a positive message to all families who might share our situation. In our world today, the notion of a stay-at-home dad and working mom is still not widely accepted. Our stories help to bring the focus on the importance of a father’s influence on his daughter's life as a caregiver and how a career mom might inspire her little girl to do great things without the stigma of following traditional gender roles. Our second book "Acts of Kindness Through a City" was released in December 2016. It speaks of kindness, compassion and giving in world where we sometimes forget the importance of selflessness and generosity. The setting is based in New York City and tells a lovely story, filled with touch moments and exciting history. Our third release,"My Nine-Year-Old Grandpa" is about a young girl, Maya, and her Grandpa who have such a blast together, you might think they’re the same age. Grandpa’s silly nature and easy-going attitude and Maya’s quick wit and adventurous personality make for the perfect mix.
