Mbari Uno (House of Collaboration) is a social enterprise using African Design, Art, Culture, and Heritage to build human capacity & make social impact. We promote ‘Design Thinking’ by creating & publishing design content, curating an online professionals directory, and setting up spaces where designers and professionals can share insights, knowledge and resources, showcase their work, network, and explore opportunities for collaborative growth across Sub-Sahara Africa. The impact of our activities has connected thousands of young people through our diverse platforms to opportunities for capacity building and leadership development. Our operations feature an array of activities in design showcase and education. Our robust design directory chronicles design activities across twenty-four (24) design disciplines from forty-four (44) countries across the continent; making it one of Africa’s largest online design directory and holds the most awe-inspiring works done in architecture, product design, fashion design, digital design, advertising, content design, corporate design and much more. Our Enterprise projects are capacity building workshops, gallery exhibitions and events that bring together design entrepreneurs, practitioners, students and enthusiasts to curated sessions for learning, knowledge exchange, and networking, has featured some of the continent’s brightest and most successful designers, celebrated artists, photographers, and designers. Some of our leading projects includes Icons Workshops, Spoken Word Lagos, Doctor No Dey, Ije Tours and Mbari Uno Forum.
