Mbm Port

Located on the western seaboard of the Republic of Albania, overlooking the Adriatic Sea and Mediterranean Sea beyond, MBM Port is transforming radically the region. We initially started operating as Oil & Gas harbor and since 2019 MBM Port has the status of an international port with a multi-functional terminal accepting, handling and processing all kind of Bulk & General Cargo Vessels. The new Bulk & General Cargo Terminal has been in fully operation since mid - 2021 and is constantly being upgraded to increase the processing capacity of goods and ships. In addition to the liquid bulks and dry bulk terminals, located in deep water, approximately 1.5 miles from the shore, a CBM has been constructed to accommodate LR1 vessels with a maximum capacity of DWT and a draft of CD-20m. Its primary function is to facilitate the import and export of substantial quantities of fuel oil and crude oil. It is connected to shore tankers through three product or crude lines, consisting of two 24-inch lines and one 12-inch line. The competitive advantage of MBM Port is its strategic geographical location as it is situated at the heart of the trade crossroads between Europe and Asia. Behind the MBM Port stands the Porto Romano Free Custom Zone which is a safe and stable-friendly destination for industrial and economic investments. MBM Port project is designated to be the main industrial port in Albania and a major gateway for investments in the region due to its strategic position, the Free Custom Zone attached to the port and the natural gate towards the market of the entire Balkan Peninsula (North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria) and beyond.
