Mcgill Formula Electric

We are a McGill University team composed of undergraduate students dedicated to learning about alternative means of transportation. Each year the team develops and builds a 100% electric race car. This team traces its roots to the Formula Hybrid competition and the Clean Snowmobile Challenge, both events that McGill teams have won multiple times. As one of the first teams in North America to develop electric vehicles, the team has strong base of knowledge from which to build, something that is passed on every year. Over the past year, our team has greatly evolved and has over 40 core members. For 2014, we’ve recruited over 50 additional members who are joining the team and starting the learning process. Those students will be our senior members in the years to come. As important to the success of our team, is the multi-disciplinary nature of our team. We have students from disciplines of engineering, science, arts, and management.
