McKickz was first established in October 2019. What started of as a hobby of obtaining highly limited sneakers from retailers all across Europe, today is a destination reseller for exclusive and highly coveted sneakers. Securing elusive sneakers can be both challenging and exciting. Being at the top of our game by sourcing and increasing our stock from trusted individuals, our competition began to grow. The journey taught us the importance of having the right amount of patience required to excel within this industry. It transformed into more than just a dedication to understand the rich culture and history of sneakers, but to also enhance our industry knowledge and our sourcing skills as well as having to pay more attention to the details of design, material and colourways. Kickz have always been a passion of ours and having experienced the rapid growth of the sneaker resell scene, motivated us to build up a strong collection with the ultimate aim of opening a store for exclusive footwear – a paradise for sneaker heads! From networking at sneaker events, to having a stall at the most recent Sneaker Con and launching a pop-up store at the beginning of 2020 to raise our own brand awareness, it set us upon a path of realisation of opening our own permanent store in the heart of one of the UK's most vibrant and famous cities- Leeds! A city with action at the heart of it, bursting full of life and cultural energy. The store as you see it today is a representation of an enormous amounts of energy, time and effort that we have put into our dream. The vision became a reality with the mission of presenting the most current and sought after sneakers through an exclusive store experience, taking the sneaker culture to the next level.
