Decided to form a Community Interest Company (CIC) to ensure the objectives of the business were for the “Community Good”. Applied for Capital Grant Funding through the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) by creating a word submission on how the Marches could be better supported to address the widening skills gap leading to an award of £1.9m being made: This included financial commitments and guarantees by all consortium members. Commitment to engage directly with 282 individual businesses and 1842 learning interventions over five years. Additional funding provided by consortium partners taking project costs to c3m.
