MDAnswers is owned and operated by doctors. All doctors on our site are licensed, independent physicians who have set their own availability and rates for the secure and confidential phone conversation with you. You only pay the rate that the doctor has set, we take care of the phone call as well as all other costs. We have only one source of revenue to cover our expenses and profits- the money you pay for the phone call. So we don't sell your private information, we don't have advertisements or hidden sponsorships from commercial entities like pharmaceutical companies and we have nothing to promote or sell other than the phone call. In short, we don't do anything that would compromise the integrity of your private conversation with the doctor - and we have every incentive to make sure that this integrity is never compromised
