MDBC (Medical Devices Business Catalyst) is a Copenhagen-based early-stage incubator that invests execution expertise and funding in promising new ideas for medical devices. We focus on innovations from Denmark’s Medicon Valley and the wider Scandinavian region, with special interest in the ideas of caregivers, users and healthcare professionals. Established in 2004, MDBC is the first privately-owned business incubator in Denmark solely focused on innovative and patentable medical devices. We have close contact with inventors and caregivers in Scandinavia’s highly developed healthcare sector. We recognize and support winning ideas from their inception through prototype construction, clinical proof-of-concept, regulatory classification, and finally an exit to a progressive international sales/marketing company.
