MDPI is a leading global open access academic publishing company supporting academic communities since 1996. Based in Basel - Switzerland, MDPI serves researchers worldwide to provide free access to the latest scientific research. MDPI UK is located in Manchester, England, and currently has over 100 employees who support a variety of functions including Editorial, English Editing, Marketing, and Post-publication. While we are a global company, a significant number of our Academic Editors are based in the UK, including Editorial Board Members, 84 Section Editors-in-Chief and 49 Editors-in-Chief. It is the mission of the UK Office to ensure our UK and Northern Europe-based scholars are supported to enable them to further our mission to promote open scientific exchange in all forms and across all disciplines.
