B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is offered in partnership with CYIENT Ltd, a global engineering and technology solutions company with expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and digital technology to deliver and support the next-generation solutions. This partnership facilitates the establishment of channels of communication that permit the knowledge sharing in the area of advanced manufacturing. Apart from the Mechanical Engineering major degree @SRU, students can choose a minors degree to pursue their passion, add breadth to their studies and also expand the range of career options. Students can pursue a few courses of Artificial Intelligence along with Mechanical Engineering courses to acquire B.Tech “Mechanical Engineering with Minors in Artificial Intelligence” that will add an extra skill set and opens a new avenue of job opportunity in the Artificial Intelligence sector. Students can also opt the minors in Entrepreneurship, Industry 4.0 etc, to enhance their employability opportunities. The students of the program will have an opportunity to work as iScholars in Center for Materials & Manufacturing (CMM) which helps to gain hands-on experience on creative projects and make them industry-ready.
