Mean Sandwich is a quick-service, family-friendly sandwich shop that has garnered numerous accolades over the years of operation. Mean Sandwich provides its customers with fresh, locally sourced and sustainable products whenever possible in the form of hot, griddled sandwiches, as well as seasonal sides along with locally crafted beer, wine and soft drinks. The three main tenet’s of the Mean Sandwich brand are: Quality, Value, and Fun. Mean Sandwich opened in 2016 providing all of the benefits of counter service, while maintaining chef curated, restaurant-level quality eats. Over the years, Mean Sandwich has solidified itself as a leader in the strong Seattle Sandwich scene, named to many local “Best” lists and Bon Appétit’s national Hot 50! The focused menu at Mean Sandwich continues to emphasize hot, griddled sandwiches while also offering a selection of delicious sides and our famous Bread Pudding. The unique “Skins & Ins” - a staple side dish - had Bon Appétit rave “they are the crispiest, crunchiest home fries we have ever tasted.” We offer local beers, ciders, wines, and soft drinks. The menu features fresh, locally sourced ingredients, expertly-prepared, most of which are produced in-house. The menu will consist of 8 regular sandwiches plus one rotating “special” sandwich, our locally famous fried potatoes called "Skins & Ins" served with every sandwich and our delectable Bread Pudding. The sandwich selections will attempt to offer a variety of meat, fish and vegetable choices at all times. Locale, farmers and our access to local ingredients strongly influence our menu. We also offer delivery and a catering menu to local businesses and for special occasions on a first come-first served basis.
