Mecadi focuses on customer-specific permeation measurements. While reliable measuring equipment for water, carbon dioxide and oxygen is available and established, the determining of the permeation rates of, for example, hydrogen, chlorine, fuel, CKWs and other chemicals often proves difficult. Mecadi GmbH puts together permeation measuring equipment using measuring cells and analysis technology for its customers, with which more exotic material-permeate combinations can be measured. Mecadi can go back for the duration of self-developed permeation measuring cells from cell and membrane characterization right up to very non-corrosive barrier measuring cells and pipe modules. The most different analysing techniques are available, like for example the online coupling with which is also suitable for complex gas mixtures or DKD-calibrated semi-micro scales for gravimetric methods and makes the screening of a large number of samples and the return to other standard methods possible. Mecadi likes to construct and manufacture measuring cells for the reception of special geometric patterns for its customers in the run-up to measurements. High-pressure measurements at low or high temperatures are also possible.
