Med Land Project

MED Land project is a creative multimedia organization that produces photos, films, books, and exhibition documenting the Mediterranean world. The project aims to portray the Mediterranean islands’ identity and charisma by presenting its potentials, sustainable patterns of survival, creativity, and social tolerance. The interviews and portraits in the project are co-created by self-portraits and real stories of actual inhabitants on the islands. This makes the project grow to be a hundreds of participants and authors. Our target is 200 interviews with inhabitants on 189 islands, documented with photographs and video, which have been or will be published as stories online and in a book, presented in exhibitions and AV lectures, with the aim of creating connections and social networks.
