Med-U-Care is St. Helena's first modern independent specialist retailer of over-the-counter medicinal products and related items. Med-U-Care provides a facility that is common elsewhere in the world but was previously absent from St Helena: a specialist retailer of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and related items. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team John & Anita Reid, Med-U-Care provides training for all staff based on Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain guidelines. Med-U-Care has commenced operations from the Ladder Hill Business Centre, and is continually expanding its product range to meet customer demand (the current product range is described here). Its activities are ethically sound and designed to avoid negative environmental impacts.
