Media Sutra is a socially-regenerative business led by people of color. We are committed to uplifting the stories of historically marginalized communities, creating empowering narratives, catalyzing transformation through art and healing, and mobilizing resources to build a solidarity economy. We are artists, storytellers, facilitators, coaches, healers, resource mobilizers, and strategists. We have raised millions of dollars, launched high-impact organizations and campaigns, created award-winning films, supported organizations and networks to be sustainable, facilitated transformative leadership development, and coached leaders to be game-changers. Our Approach: BE CREATIVE: Our creativity is the spark that ignites vision and lights the way. Our creative appraoch taps the power of the arts, culture and creative process to fuel social movements. We activate radical imagination, uplift marginalized voices, shift culture and narratives, and co-create film, media, and art in partnership with clients, communities and a network of creatives and cultural workers. BE STRATEGIC: Strategy is the map that shows us how we will get from vision to action to manifestation. Our strategic approach supports visionary leaders to be better positioned to interpret barriers and intuit breakthrough solutions, moving from ‘analysis paralysis’ to proactive decision-making. Our strategic work largely focuses on mobilizing resources to support our bold visions that align with social justice values. BE TRANSFORMATIVE: We cannot change the world without sitting in the fire of transformation with the willingness to be changed ourselves. Our transformative approach recognizes that people are the ultimate drivers of change, and therefore must also transform and evolve. Through self reflection, healing and centering the cultures and spirituality of BIPOC, we support leaders to face their fears, anchor in an abundance mindset, and take bold actions.
