What We Do Mediabound Inc. is a Japan-based inbound startup specializing in experience-driven tourism for international visitors. We believe tourism should create “memorable Japanese experiences”, not just transportation or consumption. Japan has world-class food, culture, traditions, and entertainment, yet many have not been rebuilt from a global, traveler-centric perspective. Mediabound bridges this gap by transforming Japanese culture into immersive experiences and a sustainable growth industry. Our strength lies in speed and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on the international traveler’s perspective. Our Businesses We plan and operate experience-based tours and entertainment. Through “Traveling Tokyo” and “Traveling Kyoto”, we offer English-guided food and walking tours in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, allowing guests to experience Japanese cuisine, history, and local culture. In Shinjuku, we operate “Shinjuku Sumo Club”, an immersive sumo entertainment experience featuring live matches and audience participation, making traditional culture accessible to global audiences. We also run the “Chopsticks Making Workshop” in Tokyo and Kyoto, offering hands-on Japanese craftsmanship experiences in English. We welcome nearly international visitors per month and maintain an average rating of 4.9, while expanding our experiences.
