Mediasmart Software is a software company based in Iasi, a city in the North-East of Romania. The company was founded in 2004 by Alex Sofronie, an ASM/C/C++ developer with more than 10 years of experience at that time. The experience of the lead developer was, from the beginning, a guarantee of quality software and services for all the clients. In the first three years (2005-2007) the company focused on Desktop applications, developing mainly for the Windows platform, using Microsoft Visual C++ and later Microsoft C# as the main programming languages, with some small projects in PHP. The Internet implication in corporate information workflow attracted a constant and steady shift in the European software market, so desktop applications were not used anymore for common business tasks. Moreover, the percent of office activity that was to be published on the corporate website was also increasing. That is why Mediasmart Software shifted also almost entirely on Internet Technologies and programming. At Mediasmart, the customers are our most important asset.
