A global leader in media and information literacy, MediaWise empowers people to identify facts, understand context and avoid falsehoods online, whether human or AI generated, so they can make informed decisions and maintain meaningful relationships with their family and community. We approach our training in a holistic, multi-pronged manner: We equip trusted voices such as journalists, content creators, educators, civic leaders and librarians with media literacy and AI literacy skills to confidently incorporate that knowledge into their work to empower their audiences and build trust. We equip individuals and local communities with media literacy and AI literacy skills to be empowered to navigate their information ecosystem and make informed decisions based on facts. No matter the audience we meet them where they are through a variety of educational methods: customized workshops, toolkits, training of trainers, videos, social campaigns, and more. A traveling 12-panel exhibit that explores how technological advances have impacted and continue to impact journalism. This exhibit has been featured in museums, libraries and schools throughout the U.S. Launched in 2018 MediaWise has reached more than 143 million individuals globally through videos, social campaigns, workshops and through our educator-led resources. Through local partnerships, MediaWise has worked in varying capacities across 30 countries.
