Medicoat is an innovative company in the thermal spray business specialized on plasma spraying. We coat implants for renowned medical technology companies, develop and optimize spray coatings for industrial applications. Our engineering group realizes complete coating systems and adapts the required components for all process variations. Control tasks and their visualization and registration are our strength. Target must be, to know all the involved parameter on the spray process and their control and monitoring. Quality and reproducibility of thermally sprayed coatings are decisively influenced by the nature of the spray powder. Medicoat provides optimized spray powder, which we produce in our own production, or in cooperation with the manufacturers, adapted to particular coating process and technique. Our research group is integrated into the coating and equipment production. New solutions directly from the needs of users which we are working intensively together are the results. This is an efficient way to find real solutions for coating problems. In our laboratory, we analyze the properties of coatings, characterized very quickly. Medicoat has been certified since 1998 according to ISO 9001. Our medical coating production takes place since 2010 under the strict quality management according to ISO 13485.
