Founded in 2012, Meditorch today has around registered surgeons and 300 faculty participating from 200 countries and has partnered with companies like Intuitive Surgical, Medtronic, Stryker, J&J, etc. Meditorch has multiple areas of expertise that have evolved into four different platforms, such as: LapGuru- A platform that effectively conducts eCMEs for surgeons in Rural areas. Doctors who wish to polish their surgical skills can now do that without having to travel to clinic/hospitals. OrthoGuru – The platform delivers videos on orthopedic surgeries and helps orthopedic surgeons polish their skills. ENTGuru – This platform primarily focuses on delivering knowledge on ENT surgeries. Dissect – A 3-phase distance learning program that provides professional guidance, monitoring and continuous evaluation and hands on skill building until one gain the confidence to perform safe surgery. HospitalBuy – An online E-commerce platform to buy all types of medical devices and surgical instruments required for surgeries. Meditorch is a versatile platform and is capable of transforming distance learning process for doctors as well as improving market share for medical device manufacturers.
