Meera Productions

Meera Productions is my self-employed company which specialises in Film production. Meera Darji the founder of Meera Productions, is a young ambitious Film Maker. Her aspirations are to become a professional Film Director & Producer. In her recent Documentary Film she aimed to perpetuate the emotional journey, thus allowing others to relate, creating a warm ambience. She has received several wonderful comments and has begun to share the film to the world via local and International Film Festivals. She has always been interested in films and began developing ideas at a young age. She is an active team player and works well with small and large groups as well as independently, with great communication skills. She has received over six Official Selections at various Film Festivals, taking home the overall festival prize at Brighton Youth Film Festival. Her recent film; Strum For Hope has received an Official Selection at the Bang Short Film Festival and the 9th Children's International Film Festival in Bangalore, India. She thoroughly enjoys the whole aspect of Filmmaking from pre-production, production to post-production. With her focus on production, throughout her journey she wants to create as many short films as she can which experiment with different genres, consist of exciting narratives and challenging societal concepts. She has worked on several projects which range from Documentaries, Drama films and promotional films working alongside LOROS Hospice and NHS England. Currently in her second year studying Media Production (BA) Honours Degree at Coventry University, she is more determined than ever to reach her goals.
