The mission of Meet Charleston is to unify and lead the local travel industry in marketing the Charleston area as a meeting, incentive and group destination to both the domestic and international markets. Meet Charleston departments collaborate to fulfill this mission, which is complimented by the programs of work through our auxiliary organizations. The Charleston area generates 7.28 million visitors annually, with an estimated economic impact of $8.13 billion. With more than lodging rooms ranging from upscale luxury, boutique inns, coastal resorts with golf, to nationally-branded select service hotels - the Charleston area offers a diverse menu of options to host a meeting, conference, or special event.
