Meezan Youth Organization Myo

Meezan Educational Trust is a non-profit trustee organization that works to promote educational opportunities in the remote Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Every year, the trust selects 40 students from the region’s most impoverished villages and provides them with a two-year scholarship to study in the Meezan Hostel in Karachi. During their stay in Karachi, they are provided with a safe and nurturing environment where they can focus on their studies without having to worry about the financial burden that would have been placed on them had they had to pay for tuition. Once the two-year scholarship has ended, these students are then given the opportunity to connect with a platform that will help them continue their studies and help them to find gainful employment. The trust provides its students with a mentorship program and career guidance, job placement resources, and access to a wide network of employers in the region. The trust also works to raise awareness of the importance of education and to spread the message that everyone, regardless of their background or financial status, can succeed in life if given the right resources and support.
