Mekong Future Initiative

OUR STORY • Mekong Future Initiative (MFI) is a Singaporean non-governmental organization established in 2019 by Oknha Rithy Sear. • We have grown out of a desire to fully understand of issues related to Mekong youth and a desire raise their standards of living. • Our work seeks to support international trade, investment and entrepreneurship both regionally and internationally. OUR WORK • Designed to support policymakers and business by providing data and analysis on the opportunities for engagement with Mekong youth. • Highlights the space between geopolitical agendas and youth perceptions, aspirations and attitudes. o “Meeting the youth where they are now, and where they will be in the upcoming decades” OUR APPROACH • To produce original hard-hitting research which is immediately useful to policymakers and businesses. • To ensure we produce accurate and balanced representations which present a rounded picture of realities on the ground. • To present information in a format digestible to the general public which is rigorous enough for the technocrat.
