From franchised and non franchised dealers. Also purchases made privately. The company commenced business in 1990 operating as Melbourne Finance Broking Pty Ltd. Today Melbourne Finance Pty Ltd and its associated entities are considered to be Australia’s largest independent finance broking firm with direct access to over 30 major financial institutions, some with exclusive agency. This direct access enables us to quickly locate the most favourable terms and conditions available for all our clients’ general financing needs. Melbourne Finance is part of the Platform Consolidated Group. Other members include Platinum Direct Finance and Mildura Finance. Our financial services are provided either direct to our clients, via vendor financing packages provided to suppliers of capital equipment or via referral from accounting firms or other professionals to whom we provide a ‘one stop’ finance option. Our lease, commercial hire purchase and chattel mortgage operations cover the full spectrum of capital expenditure: motor vehicles, marine, plant and equipment, office and factory fit outs. Our volume of business has grown to over $500 million per annum. Our clients include large publicity listed companies, Government bodies, small to medium sized private companies, as well as professional practices and individuals.
