Melbourne Hip and Knee is a group of Orthopaedic Surgeons who specialise in the management of hip and knee problems. We understand that visiting a surgeon for a hip or knee problem can be a stressful experience; we aim to minimise this by providing a caring environment. Melbourne Hip and Knee work in a team alongside Medical Physicians, Sports Physicians, physiotherapists and orthotists to care for our patients through their whole treatment journey. Simplified Referral Process We make things easy for our referrers by streamlining the process. While we are able to see patients at a variety of locations depending on what is convenient for them, all correspondence and appointments are co-ordinated through our central office. Referrals can be made simply to ‘Melbourne Hip and Knee’ or to a specific surgeon. Referring clinicians are kept updated through regular correspondence Education Melbourne Hip and Knee is focussed on education for clinicians and the community. We hold regular education events for General Practitioners, Sports Physicians, physiotherapists and community groups.
