While the professional world knows me as someone who has over 20 years within the Human Resource field, I had a very hard a trying past. My childhood was not necessarily the easiest. I grew up with a mother who mentally, emotionally and physically abused my brothers and me. My father was gone most of the time and working hard due to being in the military which also lead me on many adventures because of moving every year or two. My coping skills kept me in survival mode and I ended up in a gang, jail, pregnant at 17, married, divorced, a drop-out, losing one brother to suicide the other in jail and lastly watching my mother take her final breath as she died of cancer. I was programmed to survive not thrive. The beautiful thing about my journey is that adversity doesn’t scare me, I am excelled forward with every fall (or I like to say redirection). The struggle and pain have turned into self-awareness and self-love all while exposing the REAL me. My soul is full and my heart is beating stronger than before because I learned to rise, to thrive and the strength of my human spirit. I am resilient, empathetic, kind and value each moment like it is my last. I have touched hell and found my way back and it’s because of this that it is my life’s calling to help others overcome any and all adversities through self-love, self-awareness, acknowledgment, kindness, change, strength and the rise of their resilience in any and all situations. My story doesn’t end here and I am ready to make YOU part of my next chapter. Let’s manifest the vision, execute the action and create the best version of you or your company no matter what adversity you face. My value is not just in my education or book knowledge it is also in the fact I have been down many of the same roads and found my way out to make the life I once thought was impossible possible.
