Melissa Cutler Therapy

Melissa Cutler is one of Canada's preeminent therapists providing treatment uniquely tailored for clients and their loved ones, through the uncertainty and adjustment following brain injury, stroke and concussion. Trained and licensed as a clinical social worker, Melissa’s career spans 20 years of combined clinical and research experience across hospital, community, and public sector settings. In addition to a primary clinical practice, Melissa is a group facilitator, educator, and field instructor. She is also actively involved in research and educational initiatives examining the life adjustment for young adult survivors of concussion and brain injury. Melissa holds Masters Degrees in both Psychology and Social Work from the University of Toronto, of which she was a recipient of an Excellence in Field Education Award by the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She holds advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma counselling, and chronic pain management. Based in Toronto, Canada, Melissa approaches her clients’ issues with compassion, clarity, and empowers them with current knowledge and evidence based treatment options. Melissa’s mission is to help her clients build resilience, grounding, and insight to cope with unexpected life changes and day to day challenges.
