Established in 1984, Melt Design, Inc.(MDi) specializes in the design and manufacture of failure resistant, internally heated Hot Runner systems and components, including over 25 patented products, for plastic injection molding. Known for quality, ease of use, and easy maintenance, MDi's products range from Hot Runner systems and components to an array of unique machine nozzles, dual-stage filters, shut-off devices and controls. Our Hot Runner systems are used in the Appliance, Automotive, Caps & Closures, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Products, Medical and Thin-Wall Packaging industries. All of our products are proudly designed and manufactured in our St. Charles, IL, facility by a dedicated and experienced staff.
