Menar is a design house and low volume electronics equipment manufacturer located in USA and Turkey. Main activity branches are IPTV - Infotainment devices, Telemetry - Data Acquisition solutions, Avionics and Power Electronics. IPTV - Infotainment group develops Middleware and Application stacks and hardware for DVB-C and ADSL2+ IPTV devices. Modular design enables seamless switching between most common frontends such as DVB-S, DVB-C and DSL. High-end SoC and DSP solutions are utilized for H264, MPEG4 encoding and decoding with full HD video. Power Electronics division design high power thyristor modules for power factor compensation, special purpose inverters and power monitoring equipment. Custom connectivity solutions group designs and develops systems for short range and long range monitoring and control. Monitoring of power stations, UPS units of GSM base stations, adding prepaid system features to existing devices are successfuly finished projects.
