Mende Biotech Ltd is a bio-active research and development company that focuses primarily on our main product, Totarol™, which is a unique, globally new product. Totarol™ is a potent antibacterial, antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound extracted from recycled totara wood such as fence posts, tree stumps, old house piles etc of which there is an abundant supply. The development of Totarol™ has involved in-depth scientific research and also the development of completely new and unique technology for its extraction. Totarol™ has already been embraced by both domestic and international cosmetic and therapeutic markets. Our primary aim is to continue to increase global awareness and marketing of Totarol™ We have extended our focus to include • research into other bio-active plant compounds • research into and development of medicinal, therapeutic and cosmetic applications of bio-active plant compounds for human and animal markets • development of new technologies for the extraction of bio-active plant compounds Although we are already developing a range of combination products using Totarol™ and other bio-active plant extracts, Totarol™ remains our main product and still has a huge potential in as yet untapped markets.
