Mental Musings

Mental Musings is a collaboration of minds that have been through, and go through, issues and experiences with mental health. Throughout our lives we have endured, managed, fought and learnt to live with mental illness and now we want to share our experiences with the world, with a view to raising awareness and also support those who also may be currently suffering from mental health issues. Everyone can be affected by mental illness in some way or another in their lives, what we are trying to achieve with mental musings is to create a voice and a resource for those who have had experience of living with or even supporting those who live with mental health issues. In short, you are not alone. We are always looking for contributors so if you would like to write a post on the blog or share your experiences with us get in touch. During our personal fight with mental illness, we had the idea of a place where people could talk freely about their mental health. We are not certified mental health professionals, and therefore if you are suffering from mental health issues you should always seek professional help. We are just here to talk about our experiences with a view to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and create a better understanding for all who are affected by the illness.
