Mentor Seattle Inc. aims to foster a culture of mentorship within law enforcement, empowering cadets and officers to embrace principles of guardianship and community service. Through mentorship workshops in middle and high schools, we equip youth with the skills and mindset necessary for violence prevention and positive engagement with law enforcement. Our goal is to build a symbiotic relationship between law enforcement and the community, rooted in truth, empathy, and mutual respect. Mentor Seattle's history is deeply connected to the personal journey of its founder, Bishop Ivy Gaines. With over 23 years of experience in creating, designing, delivering, and facilitating programs, Mentor has become a pioneering force in redefining the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
