Mentoring For Mastery

Mentoring for Mastery offers young generations concrete tools to work on self knowledge, take responsibility and formulate ambitions and life goals in order to face life’s challenges and be fit for life. Younger generations are confronted with a variety of issues. One can think of lack of job opportunities, study- and career choice, mental issues, the disrupted sexual marketplace and relationship concerns, social media, addiction, debt, obesity, absent fathers, lack of masculinity, narcissism, nihilism, etc. Although these concerns apply to both males and females, the specific characteristics of these challenges differ for both groups. During conversations, in workshops and in lectures the following life domains will be discussed from a theoretical, practical and personal context: career, relationship, family, friendship, education and physical and financial health. In contrast to earlier generations, life questions within these domain need to be critically considered; answers are no longer fixed but open for negotiation. The goal is to gain insight into one’s character and personality and to formulate realistic life goals from the perspective of that what gives meaning. It is about knowing what you want and who you want to take with you. The program is offered in Dutch and English. You can get in touch for an intake conversation, a lecture or questions. Conversations initially take place in my home in the district of Oostindië in Leek. Other locations are negotiable.
