Mission: Engineering matters. It underpins our daily lives, drives economic growth, plays a critical role in addressing major societal challenges and helps ensure our readiness for the future, from providing a sustainable supply of food, water and clean energy, to advancing healthcare, and keeping us safe and secure. But, according to a survey, it is found that hiring managers consider 80 percent of newly minted engineers “unemployable”. The challenge stems not primarily from a lack of hard skills, but often because the graduates are not able to showcase their skills or lack connections in the industries. As a result, many young engineers end up working in the informal sector, while Indian industry continues to struggle to find the right workforce it needs. Our efforts are in the direction towards addressing the engineering skills crisis, and position engineering at the heart of society. Our goal is to bring young engineering students, academicians and industry experts together to learn, share, mentor and eventually to advance and promote excellence in engineering for the benefit of society. We aim to recognize and nurture young talent and provide them a platform to network with industry experts, harness their experience and expertise to provide independent advice. We are here to help budding engineers to get industry ready and build the society on the strong foundation of technology.
