Mercedes Design Studio

The story behind Mercedes Design Studio stems from the joy that comes from bringing a bunch of ideas into a functional piece of art. Through close collaboration with each client, partnerships with local vendors and businesses, MDS has been able to flourish for over the past 16 years. When a friend asked me to design her wedding invitations, I discovered how much I enjoyed being a part of milestone events in my client’s lives. Though the pandemic put a halt to many of these big celebrations, I was able to expand my business through custom apparel and use that avenue towards creating a positive impact in a time when the world needed it most. By teaming with healthcare front liners, local organizations and the community, MDS has been able to help uplift the morale in the workplace through “Hero” apparel, custom masks and signage. Mercedes Design Studio provided over 700 hand-made, custom masks when PPE shortage and the community’s worries were at an all-time high. Giving others hope was my outlet and opportunity to help out.
